i bought a new dirtbike instead of internals, my car is no longer my main focus,
see scott, i buy all my own ---- straight up...

but on topic, i think the oem setup will be just fine. look at pat making 230whp on a stock sohc 1.6l. a fresh GS-R will hold up 300hp for a while.

Who cares if he wants to put stock internals back in his motor, it's what he can afford, and this is HMT after all isn't it?
Not all of us are running fully built race motors with a HMT kit on it.
