You win for the longest run on sentence that is entirely discombobulated....

This site is about doing it yourself, not being a cheapass, and there is alot of usefull info here

My personal opinion, the only one that matters at this point, is i think the 3-series are hella sexy looking cars, and they may have problems, but there stupid easy to fix and prevent. I garauntee this car will not give me the problems my turbo rex had, that is until i start swapping ---- over, but its pretty straight foward. Oh, and the rex went for about 3500 after i sold all the parts it had that i stripped, which they are still for sale if anyone is interested.

well I have agree with you about getting flamed for buying decent parts for your car, I've been there also, I am all HMT, but I dont beleive in doing getto ----, I like it to look good and work good also, so I buy it instead of making it, but I do all the work myself.
plus I have the money and chose the easy way out.

but I disagree with you that the 3 series are sexy looking cars, no they remind me of old school domestic cars, no shape just square looking car. on the other hand, the 97 750 is a nice car, 2005 5 series are nice, the 6 series hella sweet. m3 ok but I still think bmw is crap.

but when it all comes down to it, do you buy your car plaease others, or do you buy it for your own likings?
it should not matters what people think, if you like it you like it. no need to worry about what others say about it.

AUDI for the German win though, best car in Deutchland

Anyway. To the original poster. You said you have some money to throw around so post up the progress as it happens. I would like to see something different.
as to the clutch issue it needed a minor adjustment, and besides thats what warranties are for.
