4. Brakes. Dont get me started on how easy these brakes take a dump. (warped fronts, seized backs).
#2: I had a friend who learned to pop hoods open on locked cars so he could clip the wiring off so he didn't have to go to the dealer for the connectors as the Junkyard were already scoured of them
#3 This too, same with Olds Aleros and Intreges

They spin bearings because of the shitty *** oiling system. I spun one already on my first motor. Then I blew the ---- out of my second motor. Now i'm doing the 2.3 oiling system swap. The 2.4 oil galleries are so shitty with such sharp 90 degree turns that the oil struggles to return to the pan from the head. Yes, if you do beat these cars and run then a 1/2 quart low, they WILL spin eventually. As far as the other things, i've never had a problem with the suspension, brakes or electrical. And the tranyns from 95-99 arn't good at all. They ------- suck. The trannys from 00-01 are better, but still don't come close to being on par with honda trannys. I also blew up a tranny, but I got a built tranny now. Like hotrex always tells me...with all the money Im spending on this car, I could have a golden eagle sleeved 2 ltr block by now. haha oh well

I had 2 cavs (a 94 and a 93) and both auto, the 94 had 270k and it was smooth as butter w/ NO fluid changes
the 93 had a trq lockup solenoid problem, unplug it, problem solved
pre-95 were NOTORIOUS for leaking @ the firewall into the foot wells causing elec shorts and lots of rust. (both mine did it, mom's 91 4dr did it too, under warranty, so repaired for free!).
