I thought this was funny:
http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/new...cle4535173.ece
“In the old days under Soviet rule we didn't believe a word of our own propaganda but we thought that information was free in the West and we longed for it,” said Katya, a middle-aged Muscovite. “But we have learnt since that the West has its own propaganda and in some ways it is more powerful because people believe it.”
http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/new...cle4543729.ece
The Kremlin laughed off threats from President Bush this week that Moscow risked being cast back into the cold for cracking down on an upstart neighbour that for centuries was under Russian control. “I don’t know how they are going to isolate us,” Sergei Lavrov, the Foreign Minister, joked on Thursday, as Russians celebrated what they believe was a noble victory in saving South Ossetia from “Georgian aggression”.
Anyway we aren't going to do ----, we can't, both legally and strategically other than try to get other countries to impose sanctions and ----. we need russia to help us with Iran, because thats who is helping them with their nuclear program and has alot of influence over them, also Iran has alot of influence over the insurgents in Iraq and is a big part of why violence has slowed down recently. the ------- cold war is over and theres alot less people on our "team" now, other countries are getting fed up with our bullshit and feel we should allow the EU and NATO to have more power.
