brought it home to paint it up with some flat black love.

All in all, I would like to say that AC is extremely homosexual, in that it takes up too much damn room. I am not sure if theres a chance in hell the condensor fan is going back in, he may have to pop in a slim one, depending on how well his AC works without the fan there, or maybe it will fit. Looked pretty tight to me.

We chose to route the dumptube back into the downpipe, a compressor spooling up is an awesome sound to be able to hear, plus an open dump makes it hard to hear any pinging. Still need to add another 11 inches to the downpipe and put a flange on the end of it.

Spot we had to grind back to clear AC compressor, and filled the wastegate signal line hole. We will run signal from the manifold.

actually, my bed is right behind my desk, and my camera doesnt take good stills so a nice light colored background helps the pictures suck less.

Nice job. Really tight fit for a/c, but an extremly tight fitting setup right there. Very well planned out to fit right. What's this going on?

dan has a 97 or so EX Coupe with a SOHC ZC Block and z6 head or y8 head or something like that. its just an all stock motor, nothing special.

96-00 coupes were EJ's and the stock motor is a y8. Thanks. I want to see it run. I'm curious what the super 60 with spool at and produce on a y8.

EX is the trim level, not the chassis code. You know, like EX, DX, LX, HX

Yes. The chassi code is EJ. The 96-00 hatches were EK and the coupes EJ.

You said SOHC z6 or y8 or whatever and I was just saying the chassis code and the engine that is in the 6th gen EXs. I'm just representing 6th gen love, ya heard? :P ;D

ok but I was not stating what motor the car came with. I was stating the motor that is in it, which is an SOHC ZC with a z6 or y8 head, not sure which.

Oh sorry. I think I misunderstood and though you didn't know, only that it was SOHC V-tec. I didn't know. Heck, up until the other day when I saw an Accord I thought they were DOHC. :-X

my car is a 96 ex and the motor is not the stock motor....its a sohc zc vtec....its a jdm motor and i think i read somewhere that it came out of the vti or something like that...iono still tryin to figure out what car it came out of.....but yeah, jason we need to set up a time so we can do the charge piping....and i got the injector clips ordered and they are coming in the mail

plus we didn't build in a nice u-shaped head flange with that nice built in 4psi wastegate you're so famous for.

just a note, i was thinking about putting AC back into my car (was desperate for an auto-shop project and had little to no money) and was told by our teacher that u NEED a fan on the compressor in order for it to work, even while the car is moving. just stick a slim on it
