We have some peacocks at our house and there is NO WAY I could ever catch one. They are fast and can fly straight up with a quick little jump. So if this guy caught a peacock out in the open, maybe it really was a vampire

Maybe he is part vampire himself and has their speed and strength. He must take some type of serum to keep him from changing completely.
