Default PC illiterate

What up.

I am a die hard mac guy, but my wife wants to get a PC for the house. My question is, does windows XP come with microsoft office (word, excel, powerpoint) already installed on it? I already looked at windows website, but I can't even understand that

it depends on were you buy the pc. most systems have them (word, excel, outlook, etc.) as an option, like office xp option. you can buy the software separate if you want, but it depends on your needs. good luck with the buy.

Haha, thats one of the main reasons why I am "allowing" us to even consider buying a PC. We are getting the cable internet installed in a few weeks. It is just way easier to download things using a PC, if one were so inclined to do that. Plus, if the PC gets fucked you can just get a new one for dirt cheap!
