I got one of those few days ago, I was using some "hide id" program and it just asked for my secret question and my password over and over and over. I couldn’t log in so I just turned the ip program off and I logged in just fine. weird

Re: paypal account e-mails..

I don't open any emails from paypal whatsoever, for any reason. Any time there has been an issue it pops up when I sign in.

Re: paypal account e-mails..

Yeah man, Paypal will tell you they never send you emails like that to verify your information.

If you move your mouse to the link they gave you without clicking it, in the bottom of your browser(assuming you use internet explorer), it should give you the address it's about to open, it's actually going to some other site not paypal, usually some kid in some college bored with life.

Don't open it. Sign directly to paypal.com and if there's a problem they will tell you before going to your account.

Re: paypal account e-mails..

The link in the email definitely leads to a different site although the link text says paypal.com
