Re:Pamela video

Peer 2 Peer, it's been the hot thing since napster started a few years back.

It's called download that bitch for free, burn it to a (S)VCD and save your money. Or put the money you are going to spend on buying that video towards a DVD Burner. OR give me the money and I will do that for you.

The video wasn't that great anyways, had way too many cock shots.

Re:Pamela video

Which one? Brett or Tommy? I have both in mpg format that could easily be burned to a svcd that you can play in most DVD players.

quadnie 05-19-2004 02:44 AM

Re:Pamela video

My point exactly.

I stopped downloading after the Tommy one. If I really feel the urge and get tired of lesbian porn then I might hit the other one up.

Re:Pamela video

well i have a panasonic dvd player. It doesn't play burnt cds though :-\ what do you recommend?

PureCRXtasy 05-19-2004 12:42 PM

Re:Pamela video

I have a $40 APEX AD1500 and I can play everything on it.

Aside from quadnie's advice, I highly recommend going here and taking a look.

DVD Player list

It is a searchable list of DVD players that you can customize based upon the formats it will play. It includes fairly accurate pricing info as well as actual user reviews which are the most important thing, in my opinion.

Re:Pamela video

blackdragon, I too have owned a POS panasonic dvd-player. ---- compared to the cheapest wal mart special of today. Yes it will play burned CDs, but only limited kinds of them. try www.vcdhelp.com I think that's the site. There are plenty of VCD/DVD resources out there for you to hook up with.

Use this search to pick from. This is all of the stuff you'll want to have being the most compatible for the cheapest price.

What's your model number dude? Is that it.. doesn't look like a normal one to me. Hit me back and I'll tell you exactly what's up with your overpriced unit. Mine took these shitty 4x CDRW made by compUSA the most shitty CDRWs in the world, one time I had so many I couldn't give them away. Turns out they are the only damn disc that will play on my crap ass DVD player. My ---- doesn't play any type of CDR, not even for music... only that fucked up 4x CDRW CompUSA ----. I'll let you know what's up.

Re:Pamela video

I had a Panasonic DVD player that didn't play CD-Rs. It was an older model, 5 disk. But it played DVD-Rs like a champ. I think as long as your using the DVD-R format (not +r, -rw or +rw) it will work fine.

Re:Pamela video

hey quadnie im going out to buy the player now which do i need in order to play videos i burned of the net. dvd-r or cd-r? i dont want to look dumb in front of the sales rep

quadnie 05-23-2004 02:38 AM

Re:Pamela video

good luck on "not looking dumb"

but if you want to be dvd player savvy, you need one that can do the following:

-Play DVD/DVDr/DVDrw (there are some more formats, but that's the basic)
-Play VCD/SVCD (super VCD) (that ---- is a must for home burning
-Play MP3 files (not necessary but cool to have)
-Play CDR/CDRW (make sure all media is welcome)
-Multi Region capable (nice to have, but not a must - means you can play low budget asian rip off movies and ---- like that.. normal dvd players are set to US region coding)

There are many other options out there like Divx movies, photo cd ----, and whatever else I can't remember.. you basicly need what I listed. Sorry I was kinda late getting to this post, been busy. If I think of anything else, I will add.

BTW - no way you will have to spend over $100 for a dvd(rw)/svcd/vcd/mp3 media playing machine. What is your budget anyways, I could ask my brother, he used to sell electronics and likes the feeling of being needed by random strangers for purchasing advice.
