painting valve cover questions
I thining about painting my valve cover to match my car. I thought about powdercoatingm but I checked on the price today, WOW, to get it color matched it's very expensive. I thought about stripping it down and buffing it out with a buffer to make it nice and shinny, but I would rather have it electron blue to match. Give me some ideas if you have any. thanks

Re:painting valve cover questions
there's a guy on here that does powder coating cheap, he may not have your exact color, but he may have something close or you could just get a different color that looked good with your car, or you can't go wrong with black :-\

Re:painting valve cover questions
if its a d series its already bare metal just clean it good with pressure washer then whipe it down with isopropl alcohol or other degreaser then paint with 1200c paint u find at wally world or the lower c one will work too. i got my sandblasted and painted with commercial exterior airplane paint since my moms boyfriend worked for a airplane place. it looks really good, red, bling bling
