Default Paint on intercooler

Does anybody know how people paint words (hmt in this picture) on their intercoolers Can you just mask it off and get a good edge like that Sorry if that is your car and i didnt give you credit, I found the picture on cincystreetscene.com, and didnt know whos car it is.

yes.. but spray it lightly

or use a pernamnemennemnnmennt marker :P

painting aluminum = reduces cooling effect.

dark colors don't shed heat as well either, same thing with a black car in the sun.

its not going to make more than say a .05% difference if you paint the thing a light coat of flat black...
