This guy is a freakin moron. I got a friend with a street legal car. Built b18c1 engine and EVERYTHING runs 11.34. Plus he keeps going into the different gas types. He dont know what hes talking about. The stupid gas does not make that big of a difference. He put way to much emphisis on the octane of gas. my friend runs 92 octane thats it!!

I give this article a F------
this guy needs to get a life and read a little more. then I will run him over with an 11 second honda.

Lots of truth in that article.

Key points. Dot legal tires, exhaust, pump gas.

I think this was written by Random-Strike. (douche bag)LOL ;D

I think the same argument would have to be applied to alot of drag cars. They wouldn't run 11's stock, but that doesn't mean they don't still run 11's. I don't give a ---- if you have a 7 second hummer. It's still a 7 sec hummer. This guy probably got his ass handed to him by one of our boys. ha ha :D

Re:Opinions on this article.....

true true.. but in the last few years. (that was written in 01) things have changed. we are seeing alot more 4-500hp Streetable civics, with guys hitting 11 sec slips on dot slicks. There was a big thread on honda-tech all about this. But for the most that article is true. It isnt easy to make a 11sec daily driven honda.
