I'd go the distance and just put a whole new motor and 5 speed swap. The 5 speed swap isn't all that much more work if you're already swapping the motor out.

And everybody knows that buying an automatic is better than a 5 speed. Buying a 10 year old car that is generally raped by ricers everywhere, I'll take grandmas old cruiser anyday. The ricers aren't looking to buy it, they haven't been raping it, and that can get you a better car with room to bargain. (because the ricers won't buy them)

whoa back from the dead!!!! same as dan, im gonna ahve to do a manual swap here in the winter...it'll be easier now that I have another car as my daily driver, basically how much would it cost to do a swap, about $500? give or take?

We're talking about a d seires here so its only a single

Anyway, Sinister, if you're interested I have a complete B17 swap and a few complete Z6 swaps. Let me know. I'm about 45 min. west of Philadelphia so its a few hrs. away, but still within a good distance to pickup.
