Re:Opinion Time: Engine Swap + Turbo
IVe done this a few tiems now...... and trust me.... your better off doing one thing at a time....
Drop in the engine.... and make sure its running good before installing the turbo, Then after a week when you know the engine isnt ----... install the turbo kit... im telling you this because if your trying to kill 2 birds with one stone your going to run into way more problems... say the engine overheats.... and now you have to pull the head off... thats gonna be twice as much work now... so yeah... do one at a time... |

Re:Opinion Time: Engine Swap + Turbo
Thanks all for the opinions. I was leaning that way from the start for the reasons listed but I figured I'd get some more insight.
About the whole traveling thing, if I had the chance, I'd do it just for fun and the learning experience. Too bad most of the rest of you live on the other side of the country. :P |
Re:Opinion Time: Engine Swap + Turbo
Yeah after I think about it just swap the engine in first but put that oil line on while it's out and just plug it for the time being.
