opinion for 11.5 quarter

I was plannin on going with a b16 but after seeing a bone stock b18c1 pull an 11.8 on 10psi wiht 9:1 compression i might have to change my mind. I also saw a b16 with pistons, rods, vlave retainers and some other stuff pull only an 11.9 on 20 psi. Is this really the difference in .2 liters of compression? I was plannin on fully building the b16... sleeves pistons rods, bearings, the hole head and running 20 psi but i wanted to get down to 11.5 on 20 psi. Will the lightness of a crx make the difference? Is it easier to go ls/vtec and pull 11.5? how hard is it to install an ls/vtec in a crx compared to a b16?

Good luck getting a answer from anyone around here to run a 11.5. I think there should be a thing on the side of your avatar that shows your age, maybe it will help pick out the serious people to the dumbass ricers.

Hmm you got me thinking, maybe if I lighten my 2bl carb sentra i can pull off a 17 in the quarter? Hmm.........

how is it a "bone stock" b18c1 when its 9:1 C/R? That is NOT bone stock.

Also with the psi it is all relative to the turbo you are using. If your turbo is a T3/TO4 you could be pushing 10psi and hit those numbers or better with the b18 and with the b16 you could be pushing 20psi with a t25 or something.. its all relative!
