oo hell nawwwwww i saw and heard the sweetest thing today
i acually saw and heard one of those muffler insert turbo noise things WOOOOWOOOOOOOO

i think i can do that or close to that with 8lbs depending on how well i can get the car to run with the adjustable regulator, 10-14lbs would be awesome dont know if the bolts will hold that, too bad my studs and metal gaskets werent in there :/ o well |

:o Nice slicks hope they fit up under those fender wells.Gonna take a lil bit of tunning before you can just go to the track an run it.Gonna launch different.
I guess now i need to get on the ball an finish dialing in the turbo truck.Jeff an I took it out on its maiden run tonight.With a bed full of junk an 3 tires an rims in it, she still ripped the tires loose pretty good. Couldnt see due to the smoke screen from the 60 psi oil pressure to the turbo. :S The 400 doesnt have an oil port in the front so i have to take it off the rear an well 60 psi is a lil to much for it.But all in all 6 psi felt good.need to get the wide band on it an turn it up got the fmu installed an she seams to be a lil on the rich side. The thing is so mellow no lope so its probable a pretty stock cam.But it pulls good.Get yours dialed Johnny time to line the v8`s up now. :6 |

I saw them on the back porch today and though to myself.. wow johnnys gonna turn his 5.0 in a nascar machine. I thought they said road racing slicks on them ?? but the size is 27x10 15's. Im curious to see if they will fit, haha

i did some calculations, the wheels and tires i have on the back now are 26.6inches tall 245/50r16
27 shouldnt be a problem. with the slicks also, top of third gear (5000rpm) is 113mph and im very confident i can run out 3rd and be well into OD in the 1/4 with my street tires top of 4th (5000rpm) is 169mph, and by the way the car pulls in od i know i could max it out if i could keep the car on the road and had the balls :l |

Ted's so god damn busy doing other peoples stuff he will never get his race truck done. (example this weekend! pitting for some russian rally car) I'm really curious on how those 10in wide slicks are going to fit on those stock 15in 7.5in wide mercury mystique rims. Atleast its not as bad as your 17in bling bliners with the homemade 4xwhatever bolt pattern. hahah |

Hmm 460 powered mustang turboed an an automatic to boot? Well i figure the chassis will break an the turbo will fall off
an the automatic will spit out the front pump the first launch at 8 psi. LOL Sounds like a project that will take longer than any of mine. Good luck an i new it was gonna rain thats why i went on the rally. Got the new Cummings tow rig this weekend but by the looks of it we aint gonna need it to tow it to the NE show down cuz we gonna be racing a ghost car. I think we can tow it to bremerton along with the turbo truck an see what they all will do.Got everything for the fuel system the other day.Now its wide band time an see how rich or lean it gonna be when we crank the boost up to 15 psi. I need to see if Jeffs prediction of that turbos ability to handle that boost level. :S Will either work or puke out on the ground. Anyways good luck on the 460 project. We need to line em up first before you dissasemble the 302.......... |
