Ontario, Canada - Whos got the cheapest insurance broker? Need some #'s

Basically my insurance is raping me since I have a few tickets and an accident under my belt. Insurance jumped to $600/month for liability with the crx (88 Crx si) under my own name.

I know there are cheaper places out there than state farm and I know some of you guys with multiple tickets are driving out there for a ---- of a lot less than me.

Need some numbers. PM them to me if you can please

Does Esurance.com offer coverage in your area? I know I was with Allstate paying 1200$ every 6mo and for the exact same coverage I would be paying $659 through Esurance.

I think I'm Sub-400.00 for 6 months. Clean Record, MARRIED(helps like you wouldn't believe!!)

State Farm Insurance, Great rates, but if you want your Rex under them GOOD LUCK!!!! I'm going to my old company for my 2 hatchs. They don't give 2shits about modified cars. I think they were Pafco. Went through a broker for them.

The wife is more then I am!!! She has 1 ticket and drives a supercharged Mazda.

$662/month

One thing I dont get, the car is in my own name, but I can put insurnace on it as my mom being the primary driver and I just drive it here and there for say? Would that do anything? Affect my mom anyhow? Anything I can do to get these rates way the ---- down?

You can't do that if she already has a car there can't be more/the same amount of cars as licenced drivers in one house. Try Kingsway, but you are probably going to need facility. Tell them you have a "common law" girlfriend. that saved me liek $200 a month

Re: Ontario, Canada - Whos got the cheapest insurance broker? Need some #'s

I dont care what kind of insurance I have as long as the car is legally on the road and is covverred for me hitting someone

I also dont mind lying to them

I only have a few small speeding tickets though, the accident was pretty bad as 1 car was totalled but I never made a claim on my own

And I know there are people much worse off not even paying 600/month

He closed down. No more Paki Insurance....Whitey Insurance got pissed and stomped the saffron out of his ass. Either that or someone found out they didn't actually have "coverage", just a peice of "paper", hence the Stoopid Cheap rates.

Re: Ontario, Canada - Whos got the cheapest insurance broker? Need some #'s

I have the problem where i don't wanna pay $200 a month on insurance that basically only covers the other persons car and not my modified civic! They call it " facility insurance", they wanna charge me $200 a month on a car that i would occasionally drive on the weekends in the spring/ summer months! I tried other companies and they all said the same thing, facility insurance, and they were more expensive then my current broker that i have been with for 10 years. As for an insurance company not carring if you're car is modified, that's bullshit! As far as i can tell you, after all the calls i made, this is NO company that will give you a cheap rate on a modified car, unless it falls under the 15+ years, classic/ hot rod category. Hey, if you happen to find someone in the GTA region, let me know, i haven't had my ride on the street yet since i put it together!

Try my insurance company. It;s called Kenny Insurance, It's in St.thomas. It's located on Center street. they will probably be a little lower. but if you have tickets and live in a higher populated area then there isn't much anyone can do. say that you are common law, that's about the only thing that will help

Re: Ontario, Canada - Whos got the cheapest insurance broker? Need some #'s

I was thinking of putting the insurance in my moms name with me not even on the insurance slip, being that im only 20 but live in the same household. Would it still be legal and would I be coverred if I drove the car?
