No it's hilarious because I'm half white and sound like a white SoCal kid. So when I'm bidding jobs over the phone, the customer expects me to look a certain way and then this trucks pulls up to their house and a black guy jumps out. It's so funny to see the double takes, and awkwardness they're trying to hide.

I'm not trying to be a hick, and im not a racist by any means, but currently I live in NH and there are no African Americans up here, and the few that are up here are from Boston and they act really.....different.... Ive meet a few polite African Americans and am friends with them at college....but if someone tries to be 'lil wayne Jr. i tend to not know how to reply, this make sense to you MAJORAHOLE?

I dont see why someone would act that way if you speak well to them.

Seriously! I hate people that do that. I guess it really boils down to people over stereotyping themselves. It's doesnt matter if your trying to act like you're a thug or trying to act like you just stepped out of the pebble beach country club, if you over stereotype yourself, people will hate you.

Dude, I don't know how to act around people like that! If you think its bad, try being black and dealing with that. Because I choose to use the english language as it should used and every other word isn't a curse, they assume that I think that I'm better than them. I get tons of hostility from what people would consider "My own people" because of that. I've even been in fights over that with other black people. It sucks hard!

yeah i could see that being an even weirder situation, at least someone can laugh at me when I give them the WTF look and they just think "white boy"
but being the same color and being like WTF. could definitely see that being a problem lol

To be honest, if I was never told otherwise, I'd believe you were white. It's not too often you see people using proper english on forums (white or black), and even more rare to see a black person on a car forum (that isn't about wheels) writing legibly. Black people get ---- for "acting white" and white people get ---- for "acting black," but I can see where it stems from. There is a large number of trash on both sides.
