Sorry to hear that. Back in the days I put my old CRX Si up over a curb cause I slid in the snow. I only ruined my lower control arm, dented my rim and tore off my front bumper. Please tell me it was insured, because mine sure wasn't!!

Oh damn that sucks! It's snowing out here pretty bad right now huh hotrex? How bad is the car wrecked? Besides the body parts because i know those are probably junk now, but is the car still repairable?

We got mad snow here in PA and I curbed one of my new Konig rims today when I smacked a curb. I hate snow!!! Sorry about the hatch.

ill know tomorrow if its fixable, i know the control arms and axle and tierods are shot, no body damage except the fender. but the wheel is pushed so far back i think he tweaked the frame, which would not be a good thing he says he wants to sell it so ill see exactlky what the deal is tomorrow when i tow it home.

Damned curbs, it sounds like that thing really wrecked it. :'(

I did that back when I was in my 87 civic. Just bumped a curb in the snow, and the wheel was rubbing the rear of the fender, it sucked. This was back before I knew ---- about cars and the shop wanted like $1200 to fix it, We just gave that ---- away.

Good luck with the hatch, hopefully it's just control arms and that sorta ----, then you can just upgrade to aluminum ----, and make better of the deal.

I got lucky with my Civic, Slid across the road, Slammed a cub at 60-70 Kilometers, hit it at just the right angle that the only damage was small curb bite on the rim. (I knew I should have put my winter rims on that mornig, damn freak snow falls!! Canada Winters Suck!)
