"She hit the curb and went over the fence, between the trees. And when the car landed in the yard, it cartwheeled and landed on the roof," he said. "I've lived in this town 33 years, and this is the most tragic thing I've ever seen." Tears filled Bill Villar's eyes as his fingers moved over a framed photograph of his son in cap and gown. "He was a good Christian, family-oriented, super guy," the elder Villar said as he stood in a neighbor's yard, the gaping hole over his son's bedroom before him. "He was a child who worked hard and came home, a family boy." Chris Villar was the eldest of three boys and worked for a collection agency in Pensacola, Bill Villar said. He graduated three years ago from Central High School in Allentown, where he was an all-state basketball player. "I've been working crashes 24 years, and this is the most bizarre I've ever seen," said Barnes, a longtime friend of the Villar family. "This is a very sad situation, and it goes to the bottom of my heart." The Infiniti hit the curb near Betty Merchant's home, which is in front of the Villars' home. She had gone to bed when she heard a loud thump. "I thought somebody had run the curb because they often do that," said Merchant, who has known the Villar family for more than 20 years. "It's just a sad thing. They've got three boys, and all are just as good as they can be. Bill and his wife have brought them up the right way." Bill Villar said he wants the incident to serve notice as to how serious it is to drink and drive. "Driving under the influence is tragic," he said. "My son had to pay the penalty for someone else's mistake." |

I refused to buy 2 yrs ago, thinking why would I need to buy a house @ 22 years old....now I feel stupid :1 and can't buy anything decent, everything is $250k plus for a tiny 1200sq ft piece of crap. Maybe that's another reason Floridians are acting up. I'll find another article in a second to prove my point. |

Uh, what does it say about the sort of fool who purposely moves to live in hellish swampland, surrounded by old people and whitetrash who aren't cool enough to live in a trailerpark further north... |
