my car got broken into last nite.. ------- thieves are so stupid too.. they must have gotten away with only a dollar ($1.00) of quarters! idiots forgot to take my mp3 car stereo (which just slides out coz im too lazy to screw them in)=$150, my slim mp3 player=$150, and my pair of oakleys sunglasses=$80.. they probably thought i had subwoofers too or something coz they also left my trunk open..

i am glad that nothing of those were taken, but im pretty pissed at what they did to get in my car. they seem to have used a screw driver and forcefully stuck it in the keyhole and now the keyhole is all fucked up. was trying to sell my car too and now i gotta lower the price coz of some thief that got away with a dollar worth of quarters.

cant you just get a new door handly part. my friend did that after some guy destroyed his key hole to break into his car.

yeah some jackasses did the same thing to my car when i had it all taken apart in my driveway. they crammed a screwdriver in the door handle lock and they also were prying the window on the passenger side, bending the tracks and breaking the clips on the scissor arms that hold the window in place. also broke my 1/4 panel window for no reason.. my car had no engine, no interior, no stereo, nothing. >:( i kno how it is man, good luck

i say you spend a little $ and get a remote locking system, then get the handles from a civic sedan which dont have key holes. might even help you sell the for more ;D

I've had similar experiences.. left the checkbook, wallet, oakleys, full system but stole the radar detector. Did you make a police report and did they come and get fingerprints?

I tried to get the police to do a damn fingerprint test when $1000 worth of stereo equiptment was stolen out of my truck but those fuckers never came and never cared, but they're real quick to give me a ------ speeding ticket.
