Olympus Rally 2007
Getting the itch for this weekend to come, so I thought I'd post this vid. The cars in this video are what we deal with (both recovery and medical) when the stage is clear of all competitors traveling under their own power. This weekend is the Olympus Rally, which is a world famous rally they brought back after something like 18 years of it being shut down. This is where some of the big WRC international guys got famous.

But yeah you get to know em when you're flipping their cars over and yanking them out of ditches, and sometimes transporting them back to service after their cars get trailered off. The teams certainly love us, but they'd much rather wait to see us until the banquets after the rally. The banquets rock, cause after bailing these drivers out all day, they never let you pay for your own beer. |

not one good piece of driving except the one with the open hood i have been to each of the events before and i am highly disappointed in the talent thats in the circuit, ---- i hit most of those corner better then them in my accord and would kill all with the quadracer..lol ---- i should drive in the circuit i bet i would bet 98% of those idiots there more like go-kart drivers then rally drivers

Next time you're at an event, why don't you go ahead and tell Travis Pastrana, Ken Block, Tanner Foust, Andy Pinker, and so on that you can outdrive them and their $80K+ Pro National AWD Rally cars in your pile of ---- Accord. You can make it a challenge of how many people you can get to laugh in your face at once. Seriously, grow up. |
