ive been watching the price of sks's go up by the day. last month there was one at a local gun shop for like 250 now they have another and want 470 for it. im gonna have to bite the bullet and take it in the *** before they get in the 6-700 range.

Gun Shops have been inflating EVERYTHING like mad. One in Winchester has an old beat up Mauser K98 I looked at, then saw $300 on the tag. Armalites for $2k with a few goodies, sickening. Some websites still have some good cheap ----, but they have to be shipped to an FFL and they add a fee usually.

most gun shops charge from 30-50 for a transfer. mine charges 35, which isnt bad.

one of the gunshops got a crate full of mauser 98's they want anywhere from 170-260 depending on condition and accy's
