well i got my car running.. the first time i took it around the block and boosted to about 5 .. then i saw smoke on the turbo not to much smells like oil burning or something.. then i opened the oil cap and smoke came out then near my breather filter it was smoking there.. i took my car out again drove it about 3 miles and it wasnt smoking to much boosting up to about 6. is it ok to drive it or what should i do?

sounds like you blew it already, start your car pop the hood, and watch the breather if its smoking out of the breather, I hat to tell it to ya but the rings are more than likely fried.

you shure it wasnt oil burning off the manifold from the install? it usually takes a little while to burn it all off. But Smoke out of the oil cap isnt a good thing

could it be that my oil is just getting really hot im not using synthetic right now but i was planning on using cheap normal oil just to see if things worked cuz syntech is double the price... i checked my spark plugs and they look kinda lean ... has a little bit of white on them... the smoking stopped i think on the turbo..

I've blown two engines in less than 1200 miles don't feel bad, first one was cause I did'nt tune it, the new one is cause I got sold a junk engine.

certainly doesnt sound like this is a good thing... or something to ignore, is it still coming out of the breather?

no i dont think its coming out the breather anymore and i dont think the turbo is smoking anymore but it still smells wierd. should i switch to synthetic right away? my car boosts and everything doesnt sound like its knocking at 6 psi.. havent gone past that with my fmu.. im saving up to get a wideband and injectors. i already have a pr3 with a conversion harness to obd2.. will it be alright to drive my car if i dont go into boost or no? i dorve it to school and back and likw 5 miles last night . but i dont want to risk ------- up my engine im already broke to buy injectors and wideband.. so to replace a whole engine will take me till next year and i need my car..
