Bahahaha :-X Yeah that bucket that was beside your friends head was for the oil to be drained in... That would have been the perfect time to do some burnouts in the oil slick and get it on video for us ;)

i was draining the oil then i started to undo the exhaust and i forgot to move the bucket as the stream of oil slows down

that's sad, it's alright if you spill a couple drops due to trajectory being off, or wind, or the pan being full as you pull it out, but that's ------- rediculous. I'm at the point now where I can confidently do oil changes for other people, after seeing this thread I'm proud of that.

thats a real nice spill.....its also nice when your "friends" get some engine gunk and write "turbo" all over your floor. its been like 3months and its just starting to fade :(

Re:oil spill lol....56k mom is calling j00

i'd thought about getting an oil filter relocator and one of those handheld 12dc pumps that drain the oil with a small hose through the dipstick tube.lol just so oil changes can be a breeze. not a bad idea if you have to do oil changes once a month.

or you could do what i did. simply put a connector for compressed air and when you have the urge to just drain the pan, just pop in the cut off end of an old compressed air hose, and it drains pretty easy when the hose is in the bucket.

---- it, do it the right way. Smash on the car for a while before you change the oil. Undo the plug and let the hot hot hot hot oil run all over your hand. Nice and hot and it hurts. Yup that's how I do it. Just did 3 this weekend. :-\

use kitty litter to soak up whatever oil is left, then throw the kitty litter in the trash. its better to dump toxic waste at the dump than in your yard.

then to remove the oil stain, dump a can of brake fluid on the drive way. brake fluid is a very good cleaner and will eat rigth through the oil stain
