oil pan-- DX and Si oil pan same?
 
i was just wondering if te D15 DX oil pan and the D16a6 oil pan were the same ?? i know the A6 and Z6 oi pan are diffrent/. dont wanna run into that problem again/.

no they are not the same, but an A6 pan will bolt to a DX (and the other way around)...

Really? thats the first time I have heard that.. d15b2 and d16a6 pans are the same last time I saw.. ::)

i have both in the garage and they look the same, i could be wrong, and i'm not goin outside to check right now.......but i think they are identical

wholly ---- dustins right only cause i told him when we did his turbo kit the dx pan has a slightly bigger sump area than the si, and if your si pan has a dp that really hugs the curved section of the sump when you put the dx pan on it will hit at the rear of the sump.
