OIL COOLERS
hi
could someone let me know if they have fit an oil cooler to their CRX? with or without a turbo set up? what were the results?
Also does anyone know the diameter of the thread that the oil filter screws onto??
THanks

Re:OIL COOLERS
yeah thats what i was gonna do i found a place that sells the plates and i have a couple of oil coolers one water cooled and the other air cooled. I just need to know the diameter so i can order the plate and if anyone else has done this i wouldnt mind knowing the results?
does it mean u can rev the car higher? does it mean you have to leave the car running longer in winter weather to warm up?
any feedback would be great
cheers

Re:OIL COOLERS
its to keep the oil at a decent temp. to cold of oil doesnt work and to hot oil doesnt work..
keeps viscousity down i believe.
get it from www.summitracing.com
search "sandwich adapter oil"
thread pattern is M20x1.5

Re:OIL COOLERS
Something to consider is using a Del Sol auto radiator which has oil cooler fittings on it (for the auto tranny) If the turbo setup is running hot this is something I am going to try. Having a Z10 or JimFab crossmember would help for fitment issues.
