Oil In Coolant?????

Checked the coolant today and found some weird grey sticky stuff on the cap.... Im guessing its oil... right? Um would this be due to a fuckedup head gasket? if So how come the coolant isnt burning up?

Any feed back would be appreciated... couldnt find anything in the service manual...

Oh yeah... car is running good... havent noticed a lack in power.

it's just a byproduct of condensation and friction and erosion.

This is true. That gray, gooey ---- is a by-product of the burnt/consumed Glycol in radiator fluid.just flush it.Better yet take your radiator off and take it to get "tanked" at your friendly neighborhood radiator shop.
