Ok, I am having a friggen brainfart. I am trying to find the thing that threads onto where the oil filter goes and it give you feeds for oil lines/gauges etc.. and the the filter goes back onto it. I thought I seen it on the TunerToys website, but I cannot find ---- right now. Somebody help me out with a link or something.

Not to bash Tuner Toys sales, but that Golden Eagle adapter is grossly overpriced. Summit sells a kit for at least half of what the GE kit sells for. :-\

I was actually just on Summit's site, didn't see that same type of product, but I did see an adapter for an oil cooler. I was wonder if you could just block off one port and use the other. I am going to look again, maybe I just missed it cause I have NO search skills today :-\

Yep, Summit sells the same exact kit without the super cool Golden Eagle name on it. They even sell just teh adapter if you don't want the entire kit.

These work good. I just put one on for my oil feed and it made it so much easier than taking the oil pressure sensor out. I bought mine barely used off H-T for like $55 shipped (including a boost gauge, too)

I have a Permacool on. Paid 45 or so CANADIAN!! When our dollar was shitty last year. I use it for my oil cooler. Works good and uses a good ol' ford pickup truck filter.

Just to stick my nose in here...

There are two differnt things being talked about here.

There is an oil take-off sandwich (Golden Eagle type), and and oil cooler adapter (Permacool Type).

These oil cooler types provide one connection with oil out, and one connection with oil in. Some may provide an oil tap (take-off). They are made to re-route the pressurized oil through a remote cooler/filter, and back into the engine under pressure. This is done through the filter connection. The installation is done in "series" so that the oil comes back into the filter connection under pressure so that normal lubrication can occur.

This is different from the Golden Eagle sandwich adapter. The GE adapter does not re-route the oil. It only taps into the pressure side, and allows you to take oil out of the system under pressure. It has no connection for returning that oil to the system. It's two connections are a -6 Boss and a 1/8NPT, both female, and both are oil outlets, there are no inlets. The GE is considered a "parallel" connection.

Make sure what you need before you buy one of these. If you need remote cooling/filtering, then the Permacool style works great. If you need VTEC/Turbo/gauge oil pressure, the the GE component is killer.

Yes the GE part is pricey, but perfect for the application.
