OG post count

Why not just set it to 9,000+ and change post counts to reflect who you want in.

People could hear your typing if you could take the dick out of your cheek for a second.

Ouch!

What happens to the post in the archives when you set someone's post count back? Do some get deleted or is the post count just a number that can be manipulated?

Re: OG post count

Since it's Toysrme, does it matter if we lose a few hundred of his posts?

I was just wondering for my own personal edification.

Honestly I've learned quite a bit from Toysrme's posts in the Fabrication section, being that he's knocked all the time I went and looked up the stuff he said further, it was mostly legit.

On the contrary I haven't learned anything from Jagojon except that it looks stupid to cut your hair in the shape of a shallow bowl.

Re: OG post count

all he does is preach techniques. he's a glorified concept of engloid, with a mouth that needs more c&b inserted

He's a liar and all-around ass clown who is well on his way to being a good welder.

he told me to buy 3/16 filler rod that I can't get to suck into a puddle for ----, but maybe that's just me. :X

That's pretty fail.

I didn't actually get to try anything.

Go in chat nog

jinxy 11-18-2008 11:41 PM

Re: OG post count

Maybe its not fail, but every time I try it either cools the puddle down too much or I have to weld at 110 amps moving way faster than my skill level. I need to practice with a lot lighter gauge ---- because right now i can't get a bead going while adding filler rod.. I don't even understand how the ---- I'm supposed to get it moving because I can't even see it moderately work. I've done it on some flat steel a couple times but it's a bitch.

Yeah its legit if you read it straight out of a text book. He lacks the brain power to organize his thoughts into anything that resembles logic. Everything he posts that looks intelligent is someone else's words.

You can download a textbook now cant you? :P

That'd be stealing.

I bet rawr is welding too slow though.

He's a bit slow in general.

Slow.

Re: OG post count

When I was taking welding classes I did everything with 1/8" rod. The instructor suggested a couple times moving up to 3/16", but I had the same problem. You have to feed that ---- in slow, hold it adjacent to the arc and let it melt it as the puddle doesn't have enough thermal energy to do so like with 1/8". And, yes, turning up the juice and moving faster. I couldn't do it either, unless I was multi-passing thick plate, but with practice I could have it was just super annoying.
