Dude read the back of those things some time its like not much of a diffrence. if you put 92 octance in and some octance boost its probably like 92.4 octane. so just use a lot ;D

Re:Octane booster?

Mix 20% of your tank's capacity with Toluene and fill with 92 octane you get C16 or 116 octane.

Re:Octane booster?

So could you boost say 10 with octane booster and a FMU/255 walbro?

Re:Octane booster?

boost 10 psi with what size turbo? I think the best thing you should do is start at a low psi and then move up slowly and see if u hear ping or detect detonation....

octane boosters are good for reassurance but if u want some real octane booster just get the Cool Blue from 76 its 100 octane or even 114 octane from 76...

Re:Octane booster?

just make sure you put the oct boost in BEFORE you fill your tank so it mixes up nicely.

Like he said it will only increase the octane by like .3 or .4 points. So if you use 92 octane gas, it will go up to a whopping 92.4. Just go find 93 octane gas or go to home depot and do this:

Toluene is the ingredient of some paint thinner. Really simple, buy a gallon of toluene paint thinner and a full tank of gas, maybe an extra 10 gallons, and the mix will be around 100 octane. A gallon of thinner might be $10, the same cost of some of the gayboys, and autocrapzone octane boosters.

yeah, i'm currently na, but not by choice, your na and proud ;D are you saying you put injector cleaner in every tank, or just to put it in before you fill up is common sense?

where do i get this (Toluene)?

Re:Octane booster?

Get some real fuel managements. either RC 440 or DSM 450cc's along with wither VAFC, hondata, uberdata, turboedit or standalone...

I dont think you'll need the octane booster as it will do very little for you. Just make sure your engine is tuned using the 91 octane.

Re:Octane booster?

toulene you can usually find at Columbia Paints or similar paint stores... some places can be pricks about selling it b/c its an ingredient for making meth. I used to mix one gallon to a full tank, works pretty good! more importantly though is that after using toulene in my old motor just twice, and after swaping out the motor and inspecting the intake mani and runners, the toulene seem to clean all the gunk out... shiney runners inside on a 140K motor! i was really surprised.

it's not harmful at all to the engine??
