I know someone posted about these in the past but I'd thought I'd update ya'll on it. Apparently one of the HT guys have had it in his 500hp+ daily driven car and is having great success with it. He last shattered his third gear but the differential was apparently untouched. He is planning on going to Famoso this friday to test it out with 535hp + 65 shot of nitrous, so thats about 600hp that this OBX LSD will be dealing with... Hopefully I'll get to see this guy in action and see if this differential holds up...

Like I said we were dogging it when it was posted so I'd figured itd be worthwhile to keep an eye out for such a cheaply priced differential (~$330 vs $800 for Quaife)... Yes, Yes... I'm sure I'll get the good old "you get what you pay for" deal, but ---- if this OBX LSD holds up under fucken 600hp I think its good enough for my 250+hp application!

nice update. I think it would go nicely with a turbo'd 250hp car. i think would be an easy DD.

I called today about one but they said that you can't buy OBX in Canada anymore and i'm alittle skeptical about buying something like this off ebay for warranty issues. :-\

I knew i shoulda kept my SSautochrome/OBX sponsorship. I'd run one and just ---- with it to see how much it could handle. Anybody know of a daily driver's results?

As I have said I'll let you know how the guy who is running at Famoso tonight. I'll do my best to get a video up if not my bad.. but if I find him I'll let you guys know.

I would end up taking it apart and not figure out how to put the god damn thing in so I would end up throwing the tranny away.......like the last one. :-[ I'm sure if I stared at it long enough I could figure it out. Transmissions scare me.

kinda....i got some 22x7x13" tires i bought for like 50bucks.. some gay POS's anyway gonna give them another try sence all the sticky tires are spoken for... if not ehh.. i think 12's are possible on those Azenis...

Azenis are the shittiest drag tire, they are auto cross tires, the sidewall is way to hard for drag racing.

i have some snow tires you can use, soft soft soft, or my drag radials!

apparently the guy on HT said he was there and ran a best of mid 11's with 144mph. I dunno but I didnt see him there and was there from 7-12am.. ::)
