OBD2--->OBD1
ok so i just picked up a new ride 00 civic si. got rid of the turbo rex :-[ ive always been single cam turbo obd0 so this is a switch up. anyways basic question is converting the car from obd2-->obd1 are there any typical gains from just doing this alone. (besides the fact of all the better tuning capabilities) do you actually gain anything from just converting over (all motor) i know i need the harness but is there a certain ecu i need like p30 or someshit? i know i sound like a noob but ive never been b-series. ---- anything turbo D i know but this ---- i feel stupid :S
YES SOON TO BE TURBO>>> |

Re: OBD2--->OBD1
You dont have to run your 2 o2 sensors and you can disable and put features. Plus you can program your ecu. So yeah you can gain Hp from that switch.

Re: OBD2--->OBD1
oh ---- nevermind i know i wont gain horsepower!! that wasnt necesarilly my question but i guess i worded it wrong.... HMT aint what it used to be..... bunch of pricks i've been a member since god knows when i ask one question and boom nothing but flames what happened to everyone helping each other and giving advise..............
my main question i guess is there a particular ecu to use when going obd1 or any chipped obd1 ecu with a stock uberdata/chrome etc map should work |
