i got a speeding ticket like 3 weeks ago for a 46 in a 30, i decided to just take it and pay the fine, no problem the price comes in the mail at 180$ in like 5 days. I get ready to pay it and what the ---- do you know, a week and a half later, i get another letter in the mail. I now owe 180$ for the ticket PLUS 375$ for having more then 6 pionts in an 18 month period. WTF! i guess they just came up with a new law that you pay 100$ for having 6 pionts in a 18 month zone plus 25$ for each additional piont annually. Im fucked i cant work for 4 weeks cuz my appendix ruptured

ny state sucks ass. I recently got into trouble kind of like that and after 5 years of having no points i got a bunch so i have to pay it too... School here you can only take every 18mos, i already did it a while ago so i wont count for me.

I just get a stick in my ass when its a driver who has a ---- ton of points, and keeps doing ---- like that, then bitches. I have certain other issues which get me in trouble a lot, but I know its ------- stupid and my fault, so I dont bitch about it. One ticket, understandable... 6+ points in half a year, and going 20 over in a 30, who knows where...meh. Not my business anyways.

youd like mine then, 88 in a 65, 70 in a 55 x2, 82 in a 65, plus the 7 ones that some ------- local cops gave me just be be dicks. I drive 40000 miles a year and all but 1 of them was when my escort passport was stolen...

what is a 50mph speed limit highways over there? cause you guys are fucked, we got some 50mph city streets here. And you'd feel sympathy for him if he was doing 90 in a 50 zone? You do know that is retarded right? That's almost double the speed and half the time to react. I'd like to see a cop feel for you when doing 90 in a 50, you'd get a fat ass ticket and possibly more depending on how much of an ass he wants to be. 46 in a 30 isn't that bad, city streets are generally 40mph speed limit on the average. You could catch me doing 70 on the streets any given day. And you know what, I'd be keeping up with the majority of traffic.

yeah they have tons of cops everywhere in ny it seems, esp in the last 2 or so years, they are EVERYWHERE. Time to get a radar detector, but even then its no guarantee, laser is pretty tricky

I think highways are 65 in ny. City streets are probably like here so 35-45. 25 in residential. California is weird, you have the quick change lights and stuff too.
