Nx ressurection w/lots of pics 56k beware
 

Some of you might remember, my nx was first showed here a year ago. About a year ago, the car started giving me small issues like the exhaust falling apart and a great lack of power. Lack of power was not due to any kind of engine failure but the 140hp that it makes stock. The decision was made to pull her off the road and start prepping her for boost >:D. Last year I had collected the parts I needed for the build so far like the piping, intercooler, manifold, injectors, engine manement, oil lines, and etc. As of right now i have about 70% completion of the overall project and as for now here are some teaser pics.

gtir pulsar exhaust manifold modified to accept 38mm external wastegate and t3 flanged
pulsar gtir injectors, mass air flow sensor, and ecu
safc 2
trust boost controller
hks blow off valve
3 inch down pipe and exhaust
wideband via innovate lc1

what abaz approves doesnt matter to me... just the color and front bumper isnt my taste, to each his own. sounds like a sweet ass setup.

Thats is simple I have no welding experience, and there was a hole about 1.5 inch long I had to cover.

Jeff(Abaz) also approves black chicks....doesn't mean everyone is supposed to like them.
Its cool that you did something differnt but you gotta draw the line somewhere. Atleast it has tinted windows so noone can see who;s driving :-\

Well stock there not the best looking cars, kinda looks like an egg. Most people won't really notice it driving by. But stock they have a sr20de, lsd, and are pretty rare. Also to eash his own. Ride hight is stock, rims are panasports.

See thats the kinda of input we like. And thinks I had never welded before that, any pointers. The welder is the Hf one.

Panasports are nice but not on that. Thank god the NX2000 is somewhat rare cause damn those fuckers are ugly as sin. A friend of mine has a NX2000 but he didn't deface it like you did and not something I would be ashamed to be seen in besides the big NISMO banner.

Sweet setup. Interesting that you put the muffler where you did. if I were you I would've put it at the end... just for the pure reason that you might want to swap out the muffler at some other point, and then you have to drop the whole exhaust just to do it :1 :3 But atlesat you won't have a big rice cannon sticking out the back ;)

I absolutely hate those cars, the color and body kit... but like csaddict do it for ONE person, yourself... I like the setup though. Keep kickin' it HMT style bro 8)

I like it minus the front bumper, my buddy had a red nx2000 he put a sr20det in it, we posted it up a long time ago on here.

does your welder have a gas attachment? if so it would really help your welding, and mess around with the heat/wire speeds

Thats a resonator the muffler is most likely going to be a stock looking one.

Looks good I like them wheels too.Those are cool cars and pretty rare.What you use for management?What kinda power you looking to make?

Pulsar gtir injectors, mass air flow sensor, ecu and safc 2. As far as power goes we don't really have a target but we do want it to at least run low 13 when its done. We are going to start at 5psi and work are way up from there.

FWD, right? Be sweet if it were RWD. I like that car. T-Tops are hot, but RWD would be like a baby Supra.

Well yea it would be fun, but at one point we had everything to make 4wd ;), trans, gas tank, and hole rear subframe, also had the driveshaft. But the 4wd trans are kinda weak, they are a lot heavier, and somethings would have had to have been custom. So far we have about 600bux in to the project.

Had no idea those things were t tops. almost got one in high school but realized real ------ quick the guy was tryin to screw somebody over. Air bags cut out, dealer stickers still on the trunk and ---- where it had been replaced, salvaged title all kinds of ----.

Have fun. My NX that was a winter beater got reduced to 125.00 dollars worth of scrap metal and melted down.
