i like to think that this toyrun is for the kids whose parents are too proud to take my tax dollars, or kids that don't have parents or a place to call home.

either way, no kid should have to go through christmas getting nothing. a place i used to work at sponsored less fortunate families at christmas time, and there would be a posting of what each of the kids wanted... in most cases they were happy to get a warm blanket and some new shoes or a hat and some gloves for the winter.

i'll point out most of the people on this forum are assholes... so if your one don't ------- post in this thread.
a child does not choose their circumstance in life... they don't get to pick which family they want to be in so get over it you ------- morons.

I've got no beef with toy runs and have been on a few on a bike. It's one of the only charities that you actually see results from, rather than hear beaurocratic bullshit.

Like Spiker said, well put. I think it'd be cool to try to start something along these lines here in the VA/MD/DC area

If I was in the area I'd come out, but I'm not. Nothing goes on in the south.
