NOS Thingy????

OK i bought a used NOS kit and sorta figured out how to hook it up.... its a 60 shot. well i had this thing that I didnt know what it does... aparently it looks like some kinda of valve? as it has holes around it... im guessing to vent or something? It used to be blue... but i primered everything black. So if you kow what this is or what it does let me know

ps... its not a selenoid

Re:NOS Thingy????

I just went on the NOS site and it kinda looks like a purge valve but there is only 1 solenoid attached (thats weird)??? but it was hooked up to a vacuum line and a T fitting? I forgot to mention that. And that its not currently attached to the setup so it works without it... guess i dont need it????

Re:NOS Thingy????

It's not neccessary, it is just used to get the air out of the lines. Hook it up if you can, but you will be alright without it.

Re:NOS Thingy????

those are my (i dont give a ---- about em so ill use em to work on the car) shoes... i was once on the street doing about 60.. opened the door and stuck my foot out onto the asphalt and let it grind till it got hot and the air cushion popped

Im gonna buy a beefier solenoid and rig the existing one up to this to see if it is a purge valve...
