NOS

Re:NOS
i got b18b1 engine with 100k+ miles, ran 75 shot zex nitrous kit, just retarded distributor 4 degrees, about a bottle a month for 1.5 years, still kicks ***. and yeah, dont spray under 2.5k rpm. it will bog bad or it will detonate. also if you go up to 75 shot, get the zex spark plugs, it will reduce detonation. i went from 65 to 75 shot with bosch or some kinda aftermarket plug, it sucked, but after i put in the zex spark plugs, it didnt detonate. and about running nitrous with turbo, i dont know about that, i wouldnt if you run 75 shot, since thats like your max that the internals can handle safely. hope this helps.

Re:NOS
well i plan on running 65 shot, and also 91 octane the whole time, cold plugs, FPR, retard timing 4 dgrees. i just want to stay away from another turbo setup for my CRX because its too much of a hassle and maintnance, been there and done that many times with the civic. plus it will get me away from street racing because i'm a cheep *** and dont want to go through too many refils, lol, so probably the only time i'll spray will be when i'm at the track or i'm taking a buddy for a test drive. i dont need speed with the REX since its mostly show and a bit of go.
Also in the future i wanna have a zdyne unit ready for nos or turbo or sc, dosnt matter what, i just want one because it will give me an excuse to but a laptop, and i want one of thoes too, lol.

Re:NOS
i took my zex kit off my rex and put it on my 4cyl lowered ranger the other day.. its funny as hell will do a burnout in second when it kicks in.
you should keep the tps activated switch for the zex it helps you from spraying out of full throttle and is less to worry about.. i have used nos kits before and i wished i had the tps activation, it just kicks ***.

Re:NOS
how much NOS from a ZEX kit
as for spraying at low rpms , this is bad, because the slow rotation of the engine means the valves are open for longer than at high rpms, thus too much nitrous gets into the cylnders, this will cause detonation
