the b16a swap is not a god, I have a b16 in my civic and I would have much rather swapped the d15 to mpfi and turbo it, but I got greedy. some people say the b16 swap should be good for high 13 low 14, but I think my car will be hitting low 15s (I live in a high desert and I fucked up my motor by raping the hell out of it).

yup- i got a b16 in my rex. i mean its not slow but its not fast. not all there cracked up to be, i just got to turbo her now

It's not a good sign when someone asks in the same post how fast they can go and how many people can I fit in the car. If your smart you'll kill only yourself while your going fast. That way there will be at least 4 people at your funeral. DUHHHH!!!

I always said when i m going to kill my self i m going to take out as many people as i can. Especially if they are free loading *** holes who don't pay for gas. IDK the crx is nice... looking but idk not the performance i want. I don't know what is the best car to really get. whats the best platform? (don't burn me for this post)

Saw a guy run who had a B16 89 CRX (full interior) with Falken Azeni's run high 13's. I dont know about you guys, but if a motor swap will get me into the high 13's to low 14's at the track, I think its worthy of a swap. Besides if you want to turbo it later, you got a nice platform to start from. It doesnt just have to be a B16, could also be any of the B-series engine B18B (LS), B18C1 (GSR), B18C5 (Type R, but not recommended for boosting later though), B20B (CRV), or B20Z (CRV). I'm in favor of the B-series as you can see. Not saying that sohcs are bad engine its just I like the extra cam

no crx is gonna be "fast" without some work.. if you want a fast car without doing work to it.. dont buy a honda. no honda is fast from the factory. if youre willing to spend some green and turn a wrench the CRX is a great platform because its the lightest honda made. buy a crx... and boost SOHC. ---- passengers.. all they do is make your car slow anyway.
