Notice the questions blundar asks.

Geoff has been playing around with interesting parts combinations recently. When your manifold design assures near-perfect scavenging for a large bulk of the rpm band, designing a cam that gives gains over something designed to limit reversion is pretty ------- simple.

They were using Skank2 Stage 2 faggot cams on one of their test mules, spooling GT4088 ~1500 rpms sooner with no loss of top end due to keeping expansive primaries. Now, go a hair more on duration (with an eye to LSA at cam settings 0,0) with a LOT more lift and we have a cam design meant to address a pressure wave manifold's scavenging characteristics AND flow serious airmass in a big boost application.

its the fact that they dont show any specs, and they only do their tests on very high hp cars, oif you have a 300 hp car you wont gain ----, big ass turbos and a lots of boost, do it on a regular car and see what you gain, thats my argument.

Oh, you'd gain on a 300 hp car, but rocker/valve/cam longevity would make those guys all butthurt.

For a "regular car" that's shooting 300-500, I'd go pressure-wave mani with mild NA cam and you'll be very happy with spool on what is traditionally known as a "large, laggy" turbine.

Welcome to the world of camshafts. Many companies release cams and don't tell anyone the specs on them. Kinda sucks, huh?

More info on this pulsewave mani? I'm interested.

I revealled all a couple years back.

Look for mattnteclipse's thread in GD, "little education." Observe that Stealthniggah is thick as a brick, but that's another subject entirely.
