No Spark! Please help!

Ok i just did my first motor swap(1st gen ZC into a 91 honda Civic Si). I went to start the car the other day and...it didn't start. I'm getting fuel but no spark. I put brand new plugs, brand new wires, brand new coil, brand new cap and a brand new rotor and distributor. I am still not getting spark, what else could it possibly be? Any help as soon as possible would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I just did the basic - pull a wire and a plug and cranked the motor over at different points on the body and no spark.

Re:No Spark! Please help!

so you got some1 to crank the motor while you held the plug and checked for spark?

make sure you did the wiring right. maybe the coil isnt getting juice. also make sure u did all the grounds on the engine itself.

What if the coil isn't getting juice... What do i need to check or do to make sure its hooked up to get juice? Turbo i got a whole new distributor so the ignitor is new.

Re:No Spark! Please help!

Which grounds are you refering to? Grounds like off the vavle cover, trany, head, intake manifold and block? or Grounds to do with the ignition?

I just swapped in a sohc vtec zc in, to my DX. I have no money so i'm still using the Dual point intake, distributor and ecu. I had the same problem, no spark would not turn on. The problem was timing. Only one distributor bolt, bolts on the new engine and I was trying to start it up holding it with some locking pliers. Well, after a few tries moving the distributor, I got it to turn on and timed it with a light.

Re:No Spark! Please help!

Not tires, I tried a few times moving the distributor. The 3 bolts don't line up with the new engine. I bolted just one, the top one, then kept advancing or retarding time until it turned on, then adjusted the time with a timing light. But make sure you have the correct one for the ecu you are using

Re:No Spark! Please help!

The ECU i'm using is my stock 91 Honda Civic Si ECU. Could this be why i'm not getting spark? All the ZC wiring hooked up except a couple of connections which i found out where they went and fixed those problems, could it still be the ECU? Thanks again.
