Re:no more sleeving your h22 for forged pistons!!
why cant you sleeve an H22? I dont get why these are a breakthrough, I heard stock sleeves are weak but..... clue me in
|
Re:no more sleeving your h22 for forged pistons!!
you cant run forged pistons in a stock sleeved h22a, you used to have to resleeve it with iron sleeves.
h22a has frm aluminum cylendar walls, so know u can run a stock sleeve h22 woth forged internals... |

yup, but the ringlands and pistons are ----, so you break a ringland, then bam you automatically have to get the block sleeved if you want forged, not for strength purposes (althouhg it obviously helps in that dept. as well), but simply b/c forged pistons aren't compatable with stock h22 sleeves. your only other option (before now) was to put new stock pistons back in and do the same thing in a couple months when you break another ring land :P |
Re:no more sleeving your h22 for forged pistons!!
Oh sure now you have a choice whether or not to sleeve your block :P Ah well hopefully these will help alot of people out that don't have the extra g to get their block sleeved!
Nice find! Thanks for posting it up :) |
