Ha my cable provider has already sent me 2 emails asking me to delete downloaded torrents from my pc, and recommends that if I dont stop, they will cancel my service. Funny part about it is the second email referenced a call of duty game that I KNOW was not downloaded from my IP, as myself and Joseph both despise FPS games, lol.

no they just look at the packets going through their servers and have a list of names that bring up red flags. since it has an ip address and a mac address, they know EXACTLY where it goes. Then probably what they do is look at all the traffic going to that mac address, and see if they can tie an e-mail address to it, and blamo, an e-mail gets sent.

the more they try, the more people will break the law. Laws are meant to be broken and some new p2p ---- will come out.

If comcast threatens you to stop your the service, tell that the price is too high anyways and you want to cancel. They will lower your price back to the promotional price.

Im about to start download russian movies for now cuz they can't do ---- about it.
