That can't be true?!?! How long ago was the offense? Unless your state has some weird laws, voting privlegs should be reinstated after a set amount of time.

unless every state has some wierd law against voting. oh wait a minute yup they do. convicted felons are not allowed to vote.

sweet, i just googled it, i can vote when i'm cleared of probation and/or any suspended sentence(s) related to my conviction. i hope kerry hopes to renew his presidency in 08 so i can vote for him for real then, instead of making my wife vote for him for me

I thought that's what fucked up a lot of ---- in Florida in 2000. Convicted, but not incarcerated, felons were being turned away (or not showing up at all) because they thought they couldn't vote... :-\

i think its something like it has to be twelve years after your felony and or you can reapply for the right to vote.

In MN you can vote so long as you arn't serving a fellony sentance or on probation related to it.
