no doors?
 

can you drive without doors?......i was at a car show in erie one day and there was a kid there with an eclipse that had an air suspension and he also had no doors and a bunch of other meaningless things......anyway he lived in new york and this was in pa and iwas wondering how he got away with driving with no doors.........i would actually not mind taking my doors off and driving around in the summer time at the beach and what not......i think it would be neat...

You can drive without doors, car just have to have seatbelts. with shoulder restraints.

when you say shoulder restraints....you mean like a harness or just a normal seat belt....i would imagine you would mean a harness...nothings wrong with doors i just think it would be neat to have no doors every once in a while...

wouldnt you have to unhook the wireing everytime you took off your door. unless you have no power options i guess. but ya it would be funny to drive around town with no doors. but i remember seeing some pulled over when i was in high school because he took his doors off his truck. not sure if he was doing something else. but im sure if your taking your doors off you are going to get the cops attention. so unless you dont mind that go for it.

im not talking about like shaving off the door peices and stuff after wards........nothing serious just for something fun to do....like sled riding......kinda dumb but its still fun when your doing it........but oh yea nothing power just the speakers which is no problem.......

ya you need to have mirrors, for jeeps you have to have a special mirror mount so you can take off the door and not the mirrors. ;)

kinda from erie....im there almost all the time with my gf....she lives there i live in sharon pa......which is like an hour away but like 40 minutes if my friend is leading with the scanner..hah

hmmm i forgot about mirrors...i would only need one for the drivers side becuase those older cars come without the passenger yah know.....

I don't believe it's actually legal. I don't see a cop being cool with this, but you guys would know before me that's for sure. Jeep is a good example, hmm, never thought about it. Oh yea, the beach as in, you're going to Lake Erie where it's all rocks. Nice beach. ::) All I'm saying is if you get hit from the side or even at all really for that matter. :3 I'd find a different fashion statement.

BRIO I live in Edinboro, like 15 min away from Erie, i'll live till i grauate in may. I'm in Erie a lot on the weekends doing what not.

lol, lake erie does ------- suck :D its useless. you can even boat on it because its to choppy for small watercraft. plus the waters all canadian and cold.

True, all you can do is motor around the bays and stuff...and cruise around the peninsula. All the lake really does is make lake effect snow so we get ---- on hard in the winter, but not this one.

Erie is kinda cool. We used to go on "vacation" all the time up there when I was a kid.

YEA sweet you live in edinboro....yea thats like 15 away from where my gf lives....i dont know if you know what im talking about but on peach street up at the top there is a plaza with giant eagle and mcdonalds and there is a funiture store there too...well the furniture with the blue blue lights on the front is where that kid was with no doors...hah there was a car show there to promote the buisness....anyway im going up there like thursday or friday....what kind of car do you have....maybe a red civic hatchback...i saw one of those one time at sheets in edinboro....i was watching a car burn across the street...maybe it was u.......yea and i was talking about presque isle.....im there alot......i got pulled over for doing 55 in a 10 or so haha....but i didnt get a ticket because the cop pulled me over on my way out and he saw me speeding on the way in and it was like an hour difference..
