Re:nitro-tech or cell-tech?

well if you use them both you'll gain weight and bulk up but there only supplements..you have to have a well rounded workout to gain mass and you must eat at least 6 times a day and have plenty of sleep. those are the two hardest parts. I've took them both and gained 40 pounds in a period of 3 months but then again i also have the genes my father is a bodybuilder. So it might not be as easy for you :-\

hotrex 03-31-2004 05:30 PM

Re:nitro-tech or cell-tech?

bottom line. in order to mass up, you need to increaser your daily calorie intake 20 to 30 percent, along with eating at least 1 to 1.5 grams of protein per pound of body mass a day. you will need to also bust yourass in the gym. bottom line, eat big and you will be big. cell tech is gross, it burns when you drink it. nitro tech is good protein tho. but its pricey.

get yourself some gnc flavorless creatine, and a nice 6 pound jug of eas simply whey protein and in 6 to 8 weeks of eatin big and workin hard you should see some natural results.

roids are not for beginners. i wouldnt recommend them to you , as in order to take then you should have almost if not reached your natural peak.

Re:nitro-tech or cell-tech?

like hotrex said nitro tech and cell tech are pretty expensive for what they are, you can just get eas whey protein and the flavorless creatine for much less and get the same result, some other good ----, that is pretty expensive though, is 'mri no2' this ---- will get you big. it's about 80 dollars a bottle, but can be found on ebay for a lot cheaper. you can find just about any supplements on ebay for a lot cheaper or a lot of other sites, don't buy from gnc or the gym, that ---- has such a high mark up, sometimes 100%

quickcrx702 04-01-2004 10:47 PM

Re:nitro-tech or cell-tech?

i get my protein from costco. 6lb's of "pro-rated" 100% whey protein for $15. also, with the creatine, its better just to buy the 100% pure creatine and just mix it with powdered gatorade. you only need 1 teaspoon(5grams). you can find 1000 grams of pure creatine for around $30 if you look around. you will save alot of money.

for workout, does anybody else do only bodyweight exercises? i hear that bodyweight excercises are better for combat training, plus i have no time for going to a gym nor money or space for a home gym. before you guys start telling me that bodyweight exercises are for pussies, try doing 1-arm pushups and pullups, 1-legged squats, etc.

they are good for functional strength and balance as well as speed. bodyweight exercises work multiple muscle groups at once, whereas weight training tends to isolate muscles. actually, it would probably be easier to get toned using weights. the muscles produced with bodyweight vs weights are different. weights will make you bigger at the cost of speed. kinda like powerlifting vs bodybuilding... bodybuilders are bigger, but powerlifters are usually stronger. everybody has their own preferences though. i just dont want to get too big and lose my speed/stamina. like i said, try doing 1-arm pullups and then tell me how ----- bodyweight exercises are...lol. its nothing compared to lifting huge amounts of weight, but its still nothing to look down upon.

Re:nitro-tech or cell-tech?

you will maintain speed as long as you stay flexible
i gained 35 lbs and actually got faster

quickcrx702 04-01-2004 11:24 PM

Re:nitro-tech or cell-tech?

yeah but how much do you weigh now? if youre like 225+ thats pretty impressive, most really big guys are slow. i weigh around 190(almost no fat) and am 6'1", and cant really afford to gain too much more weight. for me, the most i would want to weigh is around 210, anything more i cant see how it would be possible to maintain speed.

hotrex 04-01-2004 11:28 PM

thats why you do both. I do bodybuilding and weightlifting. I realized i've lost me speed since high school since i wasn't in football or track anymore i just lifted weights. but i run and do aerobics along with body building and i'm much faster now then when i was 16. Im' 5'9 1/2 5'10 and weight 195 pounds. i would like to get to 200 or 210 as well but i'll be really stocky. :-\

Re:nitro-tech or cell-tech?

i'm 5'10 200lbs. a little more body fat than i would like, but i've only been back at the gym for about 3 mos. and trying to get bigger and trying to lose body fat at the same time, don't usually work too well, but i just can't go to the gym and lift light weight and do cardio, i try, but i just find my self lifting my normal amounts :P
