Oh man you just threw 25 smackers down the drain. The "boost" bottle is nothing really. All it does is hold some misc pressure that your engine produces when you go from full throttle to closed. No major difference, only noticable for the real r/c nuts. I think I got this info correct, I've been outta the game for 4 years and just jumped back in. LOTS of $$$. Well what kinda car you got?

I used to be pretty big into this stuff but have not touched it ina while.

I have a losi GTX Pro with an O.S. CZ-12Z now thats old school! Along wth my airtronics caliber 3ps, still love that remote.

I have electric cars too just laying around. Losi XX CR, a kyosho Jetstream 1000 boat. Has an O.S. .32 water cooled nitro motor. I have yet to put that one in the water for some reason...lack of time I suppose.

Like everyone else said I pretty much stopped when I got my liscense.

i gotta Kyosho Hi-Ryder(i think that's what it's called)..it's like a monster truck frame with a fiberglass Vette body..we painted it like the old pace cars, black on top and silver around the bottom...I haven't touched it since I was like 11, but I really enjoyed it back then...would still be a cool hobby today, if I had money for a hobby..lol

I had a car. I have no idea what Cp-546 O.S P33 MTM means or anything, but it was a car. All I know was it was electric and it got spanked by the gas cars. I ebayed that bitch for like $150. I don't even know if that was a good deal or not. :-\

Re:nitro rc cars?

Hpi is great as a first car, but as time goes by you want better. I have a few Hpi's and had a few, really like them, I could take one apart and put it back together by memory. But then I got a Yokomo Gt-4 and I could piss on my HPIs. Don't get me wrong, Hpi are great cars, I have one that I put together with spare parts, not even 2 speed and I'm pretty sure it does at least 40-50 with a 12 tooth clutch bell and a 44 tooth spur gear (put a 2 speed didn't feel like it had as much umph). Oh and my HPI mini huals ass, OS 15 CV-RX and about to hook up an ofna 2-speed. Another Gt-4 on the way and Now i gots a serpent project goin' on. Too much dough. Hopefully my lil r/c can reach my goal of 80 mph.
