Nissan 240sx engine swap
Wazup....I just bought a '92 Nissan 240sx through a friend. The car is being transplanted with a sr20det motor and trans, just wondering if anyone has experience with this swap and could give me a head's up on anything that could be overlooked. I was thinking that the transplanted sr20det motor would need a more performance fuel pump than the original 2.4L would have needed, but have since been told this isnt so...anyways will keep searching, also looking for ideas on upgrades to the turbo and ecu....thanks.

i think everything is fairly straight forward until you get to the wiring. i know a guy around here that made 302whp on the stock t25. completely inefficient, but it can be done. a t28 is a good upgrade, im a big fan of the disco potato. try to find someone local to tune the ecu, you need to have a daughterboard installed. or just use a piggy back. JWT's are overpriced and not worth the money IMO. im jealous, i dont have much experience with the swap. have fun. i love the sr20... hopefully mine will see boost this summer.

hey haha, thanks for all the bonus help, you ------ heros sitting in the kitchen on your mom's computer coming up with some random comment, why do you even bother. Go throw another log through a honda window yu ------ robot, what bigger bandwagon has ever come through than the riced honda craze, which you follow as religiously as your sunday session with jesus.
