What makes you think he needs to kill his friend to go to jail? If he was going fast enough or driving wreckless, he could easily be charged with vehicular assault on his friend and spend time in jail. At 17 I can almost guarantee you he would be charged as an adult, at least in my state

Hmm racing a silver viper, It looks like nick was racing his father at the time of the crash and by the time his dad got there(reportedly within minutes) it just so happen's that a nurse going on her way to work witnessed a silver dodge viper racing the supra.
