haha thats a good description of what that sounded like, but actually it's not running a BOV. So, that cool sound your hearing is actually compressor surge. It's not good for the turbo and can wear out the turbo faster. That hill climber/go kart is actually powered by an Audi 2.3 liter engine with a Hybrid T3/T4 ball bearing turbo. Pretty sweet

 

I'll say. Compressor surge sounds cool as ---- though, lol

 

if its ball bearing not thrust its not that bad, the surge wont hurt it as much, so i hear right?
